Cornerstone Construction was founded in 2008, not out of a business plan but out of a calling. When the economy slowed and construction work dried up, Mike could have waited it out. Instead, he leaned into what he had always known: he loved building things, and he was good at it.

For years before going out on his own, Mike had been learning the craft from the ground up, absorbing the knowledge of experienced tradespeople, developing an eye for quality, and building a deep respect for what it means to do a job right. When people in the community started seeking him out by word of mouth, he took that as a signal. Cornerstone was born.

What makes Cornerstone different isn’t just skill. It’s character. Mike built this company on a simple belief: that a contractor should be someone you can trust completely with one of the most important things in your life, your home. That means honest conversations, realistic expectations, and the integrity to deliver exactly what was promised. No shortcuts. No surprises. No compromises on quality.
